My family is planning a trip to St Louis in early Feb. for a different reason, but want to do something family friendly while there. Last year we did the Magic House and that was great, but how good is the St Louis Zoo in the winter? Are there a lot of inside activities? Is it worth it to go in February?

no, not really. it will be extremely cold, and there may not be many animals out. I would do it in the late summer.

I wouldn’t go unless it was at least 40 and that’s even a stretch. The St. Louis Art Museum, History Museum are both near the zoo and would be heated and nice.

The City Museum would be fun
The Science Center would be great
World Bird Sanctuary could be fun
